Ghostlight is proud to Announce the cast for "Bug"

Ghostlight Theater Company is producing "Bug" by Tracy Letts, to be directed by Aaron Foss.

PLAY SYNOPSIS: Set in a seedy Oklahoma City motel room, the play centers on the meeting between Agnes, a divorced waitress with a fondness for drugs, booze, and isolation, and Peter, a soft-spoken Gulf War drifter introduced to her by her friend, R.C. Agnes stays at the hotel in hopes of avoiding her physically abusive ex-husband, Jerry, who was just released from prison. At first, she lets Peter sleep platonically on her floor, but not long after she promotes him to the bed. Matters become more complicated as Jerry eagerly returns to the woman he loves, expecting to resume their relationship. On top of that, there's a hidden bug infestation problem that has both Agnes and Peter dealing with scathing welts and festering sores—which has Peter believing this is the result of experiments conducted on him during his stay at an army hospital. Their fears soon escalate to an intense paranoia. Conspiracy theories and twisted logic take hold as Agnes and Peter, and the audience, will question what is truly real.

The Cast:
Agnes - Victoria Hogan

Peter - Matt Lacroix

R. C. - Christin Clohosey

WAITING FOR GODOT is Samuel Beckett's Absurdist masterpiece which has entertained and confounded audiences all around the world. Voted "the most significant English language play of the Twentieth Century,"

GODOT arrives on the New Hampshire stage in a production which is as entertaining as it is thought-provoking. Two tramp-ish old men, who call each other Didi and Gogo, wait and wait .... and wait, for someone named Godot to come and save them from their despairing and purposeless existence. While waiting, they bicker, philosophize, eat turnips, share memories, and make conversation. And every once in a while, they try to hang themselves. Better entertainment arrives when an eccentric, pompous man called Pozzo and his absurdly faithful servant Lucky arrive on the scene. Will they provide an answer, or simply raise more questions? Will they entertain, or horrify?

Release of THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: a collection of new plays

The collection of plays that were performed at the The Seven Deadly Sins Festival is now available on Amazon for $13.95

Collected by ghostlight, Seven Deadly Sins features the fourteen winning short plays included in ghostlight's Seven Deadly Sins festival. Each play focuses on a single sin, allowing it to be an integral part of the larger body of work but also stand on its own, making the collection a great resource for those looking for a single ten-minute one-act to produce, those looking for an evening's-worth of material (allowing you to choose the seven you prefer), and even simply offering a great evening of reading at home! The collection features plays by Jerry Bisantz, Regina Eliot-Ramsey, Jyl Lynn Felman, Teresa Fisher, Peter Floyd, Hortense Gerardo, Brendan Gillett, Sierra Perez-Sparks, David John Preece, Ron Radice, and Andrew Wetmore, with forewords by Jack Neary and Peter Josephson, PhD.
